#4 56 mins late
#6 5 hrs 45 mins late out of Galesburg, IL
#8 4 hrs 51 mins late out of Columbus, WI
#22 32 mins late
#29 3 hrs 11 mins late
#49 1 hr 59 mins late
#851 11 mins early
#58 10 mins early

I figured 6 and 8 wouldn't be much different into Chicago than they are now. These two trains, plus 29 and 49 continue to mystify me. I riding 48/49 in a month and I'm about ready to change my mind.

29 is usually much better than 49

Right - #8 arr Glenview 7:58 p.m., 4 hrs 53 mins late.

49 did fine the day I rode in May. But since then it seems be almost 2 hours late almost everyday. Amtrak should be ashamed of their recent timekeeping performance on long distance routes. And it's not even winter.

Most of the delays are out of Amtrak's control. Lots of trackwork being done, at least on the Cleveland - Chicago segment.

Anyone know why #6 was so late?
