Amtrak P935 in FL
Author: twropr

Heard on the Central FL radio feed P935, ENG 166, call a clear signal at the South End of Deland Siding at 12:58 pm today. Anyone know what this might be? Had only 12 axles by the DED at MP 755.
Earlier I heard SILVER METEOR #97 call an approach signal at MP A773 on TK 2. It has always been single track between Sanford and Winter Park, so SunRail must have installed some double track on their RR.

Could be for the SunRail open house this afternoon at the Winter Park station 4-8 pm. Equipment will be on hand for viewing.

The thinking is that P935, one loco, one coach and a diner, was replacement or relief equipment for P092, which had a bad order diner. Don't know where the exchange took place.
