so, 600, 602, 603, 604, 605 are under Amtrak's control somewhere in the east or on ice? Wonder what they'll do with all the extra passenger equipment?

The 600s are the new electric motors for the NEC operations.

Where did those extra Superliners come from? You mention 10 cars, but there are 13 listed? What happens to the remaining 3?

Remaining three move west to Albuquerue, NM and Los Angeles, CA.

Did we ever hear what all those Superliners were doing at the TTCI? I assume they were there for testing with the ACS-64.

I didn't think Amtrak ever ran Superliner behind electric locomotives in regular service... or was this test "just in case."

Also, what happened to 601? Is it still at the TTCI or was it already shipped back east?

How many Superliners does the whole train have now? How are they managing to supply HEP to all of them?

unless they left power on the front of the new cut, they aren't supplying HEP but it is not really freezing weather so not necessary, they may have been thinking about the weather when they scheduled this.
