Passenger Trains > What Happened to # 448 Tonight ?Date: 11/25/13 17:13 What Happened to # 448 Tonight ? Author: mp16 The train arrived Springfield, MA 35 mins. late at 6:23 pm
Departed Springfield 7:35 pm( 1 hr., 42 mins. late) Most unusual. Anybody know what the problem was ? TIA Date: 11/25/13 18:20 Re: What Happened to # 448 Tonight ? Author: Tominde Just a SWAG. Does #20 pool equipment with #48??? And since 20 lost contact with the track in Spartanburg SC there would be no equipment available for 48. Which makes for a non normal turn of equipment. But why 448 late?????

Author: mp16 #48-448 will be late into upstate NY stations around 2 hrs late
today(Tues. 26th) Evidently last nights departure from Chicago was held for the Builder which arrived Chicago 9:39 pm. Lake Shore departed Chicago at 11:51 pm(2 hrs., 21 mins. late) This morning the train is estimated to arrived Buffalo 11:21 am(2 hrs., 23 mins. late) Syracuse 1:42 pm(2 hrs., 04 mins. late) and, with luck Albany 4:19 pm( 1 hr., 29 mins. late) Date: 11/26/13 08:00 Re: What Happened to # 448 Tonight ? Must have been something else as well. Dave Date: 11/26/13 09:50 Re: What Happened to # 448 Tonight ? Author: toledopatch None of the responses given here could possibly explain why #448 lost an hour-plus at Springfield, Mass.
