I'm not sure if any have been officially stricken from the roster, but a few have been retired for all practical purposes (including at least two HHP-8's that got sent to Wilmington for indefinite storage). This is the 2nd photo I've seen of Train 129 on the outside track, when most Amtrak trains operate on the inside tracks. Do the dispatchers put it over there because the Acela is so close behind?
