Passenger Trains > Signal Sunday at Cherry Hill, NJ (Atlantic City Line)

New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City Line trains were terminating at the Cherry Hill station due to a planned outage of the Delair Bridge. Buses were used to transport passengers between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. Here, an eastbound train waits for the bus passengers at the station. The signals for photos one and two are for "North Race" while the signals in the third photo are for "Race" as there used to be a horse track on the other side of the train. The motive power on this train was P40 4801. NJT had two MOW pieces on the other track.

photo # 3 is Race ... South Race is at Utica Ave

That's right. I forgot about Utica Avenue going back to the single track. So it's North Race, Race and South Race. I'll make the adjustment.

are all three P40 units on the Atlantic City line now? I know they seem to draw that route pretty often.

I think I was here a few hours earlier taking pictures, since #4802 was in the station, and 4801 was hanging out on the other side of Route 70. I thought about waiting for #4801 to pull up, but I'm guessing that would be for quite some time.
