We had SOME rain today which helped a little with the ragIng wildfires. Thunderstorms are in the forecast tonight and tomorrow, unfortunately. Best of luck and have a safe journey!

Weather changes continue for eastern Washington....electrical weather
events or storms continue but not everywhere at the same time. The real
and every day challenge for riders on 8/28 still are all things Bakken
Oil Fields associated from, say Spokane to well east of Williston, N.D.

At the moment the active weather skirts around Spokane proper.. but subject
to rapid change. #28 passes thru Leavenworth, Wenatchee, etc and the fires
are changing directions from shifting winds of any velocity across eastern
Washington...Cascade Mtns. eastward. Helpful, I hope.
