Passenger Trains > amtrak fares

does anybody know about when the fares go down to the lower buckts after the peak travel season is over?? I know its some time after labor day.plan to go from seattle to reno NV after the fares come down come down,and don't want to pay an arm and leg for a sleeper on the coast starlight down to SAC California.prefer any replys on this be PM to me.thanks for any info on this.

This is easy to search for, even now, so just enter some potential travel dates and see what comes up.

Don't forget to vary the day of the week as well as the month. Sometime the day of the week can make a huge difference.
