Passenger Trains > New CAF cars on the moveDate: 08/01/14 05:18 New CAF cars on the move Author: twropr A poster on another forum reported that the three cars that had been released from CAF on July 8 (bag-dorm, diner and sleeper) were finally moved out of Albany-Rensselaer, NY. Electric porpoise #711 took them to Sunnyside. Reportedly they will undergo high speed testing between NY and Philadephia.
Andy Date: 08/01/14 07:26 Re: New CAF cars on the move Author: NGotwalt They're at Race Street in Philly now, at least three of them are, the baggage car was nowhere to be seen, the other three were tied to the exhibit train.
Cheers, Nick Posted from iPhone Date: 08/01/14 07:58 Re: New CAF cars on the move Author: Thirdrail7 The baggage car is still in ALB and will probably make its way back to the factory next week. The testing will work in the same manner as the baggage car, Twropr (which you know from other boards)which also covers the NED.
