Long Distance trains arrived at Chicago Union Station today, August 1, 2014 as follows:

#4 - 39 mins late.
#6 - 2 hrs, 46 mins late.
#8 – 3 hrs, 18 mins late.
#22 - 46 mins late.
#29 - 1 hr, 20 mins late.
#49 - 2 hrs, 26 mins late.
#851 - 14 mins early.
#58 - 14 mins late.

All trains departed their originating stations on time (or, were on time at some point in their route).
Readers of this post should assume that, unless noted otherwise, all trains will have left originating stations either on time, less than 5 minutes late, or were on time at some point in their route.

Announcement: I will be out of touch from all internet use until aprox. August 13. Going with family on a sea cruise. No trains involved. Could not convince them to include a train journey. Was accused of having "trains on the brain" (yeah, so what?). So, Mudrock, amtakwolverine, anyone, jump right in, be my guest.

Couldn't you at least find a cruise that involved a train shore excursion? There are several in the Caribbean including I believe the Panama Canal Railroad. Or do as I did a few years back and bail out from the normal tour and do your own. Of course it would have to be someplace where railway is nearby.

There is a narrow gauge sugar cane railroad
trip in Saint Kitts.
