Enjoyed a pleasant holiday afternoon here just staying at, or within a block or two of "MH" Tower. Here are a couple of the more interesting sights observed...

1. Phase II #66 makes a solo appearance past the "viewing stand" as it turns in preparation to lead Train #383, the "Illinois Zephyr" west to Quincy tonight.

2. Amtrak "Veterans" unit #42 rests at Amtrak's Chicago Maintenance Center late in the afternoon.

3. New Siemens Electric ACS-64 #620 gets turned, along with the consist of Amtrak Train #6, the "California Zephyr," in front of "MH."
