The HHP-8 units have disappeared from several of their usual assignments. This could be the final week of operations. No inside info, but there were only two still in service as of early last week.

If I recall correctly, that one is "the beast", the one with all the paint coming off the nose. Still lots of AEM-7's, but the Sprinters are multiplying like rabbits. Caught #619 last week. Hopefully, Acela II sets will keep things interesting. /Mitch |
