Andy Date: 10/19/14 19:21 Re: Cardinals Meet at Crozet, VA Author: railbuff3797 I believe that the second sleeper was added this summer and based on demand on that train for sleeping accommodations Amtrak has added the second sleeper. Due to its longer distance( compared to the LSL), longer running time and limited 3/day/week schedule it had been very difficult to book a sleeper on the Cardinal with a "sold out" message appearing most days when trying to book a sleeper on this train.
