Highball Prince!!!

The Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society runs fall excursions during two weekends in October between Huntington and Hinton, WV. The train is huge and is a mix of Amtrak equipment and privately owned rail cars.

Here the "New River Train" passes the tiny passenger station at Prince, WV.

What a shame that a trip promoting scenery has to be run with slit-windowed amcans.

I think you have to buy a ticket on a private car for the better viewing!!! Amtrak could likely charge a premium for its sole Great Dome if it were available......

And here we have yet another photo of a special train with many cars brought in from around the country and all we get is the usual shot of the motive power. You can get a similar shot every other day at Prince. It's the train, not the locos, that need to be photographed.

at least a series of shots that show the 30-car train and all of its colorful PV's would be of interest
