Passenger Trains > #8 construction schedule MSP-CHI 10/27-30

The special construction schedule for #8 east of St. Paul is in effect again this week, with departures Monday through Thursday set back 2.5 hours to 10:30 a.m. Chicago arrivals are scheduled for 6:26 p.m. instead of 3:55 p.m. Schedule returns to normal on Friday.

p.s. MSP regular stop now scheduled at 13 minutes, 0746-0759 a.m. instead of the 8-minute, 0752-0800 stop originally established when SPUD re-opened. Not sure exactly when this occurred, but it's now been in effect for a few weeks at least.

p.p.s. Though the official delay for #8(25) due Chicago today looks better with the extra 2.5 hours recovered at St. Paul, nothing will help this train after extensive delays between Glacier Park and St. Paul; it is now expected Chicago around 3 a.m. on the 28th.

#8 just can't get a break. So what's next, a detour via Little Rock?
