Around The Bend At Chorro
Author: walstib

With a station stop in San Luis Obispo just minutes away, the Coast Starlight rounds the curve at Chorro and descends Cuesta Pass on its southbound journey this afternoon.

What a view! A train with a geography and climate lesson in one shot.

I think anyone with a Spanish language background will always find the location "Chorro" comical.

Translates literally as a jet or stream of water. Often used to describe a "turbulent muddy river," but most commonly used in Spanish to describe someone having a particularly powerful bout of diarrhea.
