Eagle disruption
Author: SunsetLtd

Does anyone know what's up with today's southbound Eagle in Texas? Shows it arrived Cleburne an hour late, but then was placed in service disruption status. Have tickets on #22 tomorrow and hoping im not riding a bus.

Welcome to the bus...

But see that thread...Amtrak may now be trying to deadhead the empty train to
San Antonio via UP detour.

Train is still occupied and just left Austin heading South. Detoured via UP Ft. Worth and Waco Subs, ETA into San Antonio is 10:30am. #22 pushed back to Noon departure if all goes well, #1 of course is holding for transfers. Not a good end to Spring Break traffic, but it's better than leaving people stranded.
