Browsing through the new timetable I see they've added Arcadia Valley, MO between St. Louis and Poplar Bluff on the Eagle. Anyone have the story with it? Couldn't seem to find anything in the archives here about them adding a stop.

Yes, there is a planned new stop at Arcadia athe old station now a Visitor's center and locaal history center. It has been on schedule for the last two series. The still need a platform/gate and a waiting area. The hisotry center does not want to move. It would service the Ozark National Scenic River area.

That area around the towns of Arcadia, Ironton and Pilot Knob, MO probably has a fairly decent population base. It's also something of a tourist area, but I doubt if the train times, especially northbound will appeal to tourists.
