PV Cyrus K. Holliday On The Move
Author: CA_Sou_MA_Agent

The private car Cyrus K. Holliday is making a rare move to and from Chicago.  It's tacked on the rear of # 04 that departed Los Angeles on April 29, and will return on # 03 leaving May 02.

Owned by the Sefton Trust, this car rarely ventures off the San Diego - Los Angeles corridor.

Hmm... this sure would be cool to shoot in Topeka, KS tomorrow morning given Mr. Holliday's involvement with the city, but unfortunately (for me), it looks to be running on time right now.  Come on Western Kansas! Do your thing!!!

Oh, I've got absolutely no problem with night photography. However, sleep is good. Really good.

If I can respectfully ask, why is a Soo Line private car named after the founder and builder of the Santa Fe?
I am interested  to  know if there is a reason other than, "because they can".     BSB

You know, I thought about that. Lawrence is really great for night shots of PV these days.  KC is a little more questionable, as you have to somehow find your way to the platform.  I've done it, but it requires a bit of sleuthiness.

Went to High School with the caretaker of the Cyrus K. Holliday. He gave me a brochure of the car. A really beautiful car!
Below are the scans.
