Passenger Trains > Two Hours Late, But Looking Good

Amtrak 790, the afternoon Surfliner from San Luis Obispo, was more than 2 hours late, but looking good approaching Milepost 319 between Point Arguello and Point Conception this afternoon. 

Usually, this train leads the Tuesday afternoon parade at Jalama Beach, but today it was the last of four trains that rolled through south on 20-minute headways. 

The train's departure from San Luis Obispo was delayed more than 2 hours because the consist — which comes in as 761 — was late.

That shot gives me vertigo!  LOL!

California has invested money in that line, but needs to do still more.  More sidings.  More double track, etc.  The schedule currently only works if there are no failures at any point.

Has all Amfleet vanished from the LA area ?

Old 90208 looks beat up and raggedy.

Horizon sets look good when there aren't Amfleets mixed in!
