Amtrak Special with 520, Amcoach 82512 and P42 73 departed ALB this morning for Elmira Heights, NY. Tomorrow morning will depart CAF with 10 more Viewliner II Baggage Cars to return to ALB.
1. NS-AMTK 520 Westbound on the Southern Tier Line at Wellsburg, NY
2. Heading for CAF passing through Elmira Yard Track 13
3. About to enter CAF Elmira Heights, NY

They have been rebuilt and lost the D-B fan and also one of the rear fans.
Original model designation GP40TC

TC's never had dynamics.

Amtrak's most recent overhaul (moving them to the 500-series for work train service) de-turboed them and as a result removed a radiator fan.
