jk Date: 05/20/15 21:58 Re: Sunset from Little Rock streetcar over Arkansas River Author: arkansasrailroader We've had a 3.5 mile streetcar line since 2004, celebrating the 10th anniversary last year. There are 5 streetcars (built at Gomaco in Iowa) with overhead wires that operate 7 days a week, usually until 10 p.m. but until midnight Thrusdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Ridership peaks on weekends with lots of tourists. Ridership has been averaging a little over 100,000 a year for the past several years.

Workers two weeks ago serviced the entire line, replacing or repairing overhead fixtures.

It passes near the Clinton Library. That whole area is a lot of fun. I am going to be there in a few weeks. Looking forward to it.
