Amtrak always had an eBay account, going back 10 years or more. They used to sell discounted tickets and travel packages, usually on an auction. They were also selling "rail sale" tickets on their web site at the same time. Anyone remember those days? I say they should auction a lunch with Joe Boardman. Let the "market speak" on what people really think about the guy. :-) Date: 07/03/15 19:36 Re: Amtrak's Ebay Account Author: moonliter cchan006 Wrote:

The one Amtrak eBay win that I will always remember was the trip on the Kentucky Cardinal where the highlight of the trip was meeting TO member, timecruncher. I do! I was doing my undergrad at that point (BGSU!) and remember picking up these tickets from Toledo-Chicago and back on the cheap.
