Gary Date: 07/07/15 12:14 Re: Unique use for an adandoned NYC trolley terminal Author: Lackawanna484 Thanks for mentioning this project. The local TV shows Hidden New York and others have featured the space from time to time.
Riders on the J M and Z trains can see the space on the right side of the train, just before going onto the Williamsburg bridge from Manhattan Date: 07/07/15 14:05 Re: Unique use for an adandoned NYC trolley terminal Author: Auburn_Ed Like a lot of well-intended projects, this one sounds doomed to be an urban bunkhouse and toilet for the low-lifes. We're just spending money on all the WRONG things. Doesn't Philly have one of these? I don't think it would handle being spiffed up either.

There were lots of nay-sayers for the High Line in NY, and it's a huge success. DuPont Circle - the old trolley line went under the circle - plan is some sort of art gallery.
Clarence G Date: 07/08/15 04:45 Re: Unique use for an adandoned NYC trolley terminal Author: joemvcnj I think it will do just fine. There is a population explosion in Bushwick, Ridgewood, WIlliamsburg, and Lower East Side that would appreciate this, and none of them would drive there.
