Depart Whitefish, MT @ 0747 Sunday.

Cut Bank, MT depart 1045.

Shelby, MT. with a 20" smokers delight stop. We should be OT departure at 1143. A person could subsidize their fare by walking through the train selling nicotine patches to people with the shakes.

Sleepers and video watchers have the curtains closed on 7 rows on the south side of my car closed. That was a bummer in the mountains but not so much on the plains.

You can Havre, I don't want her, she's too fast for me. Departing OT at 1332.

#8 meets #7 for the second time today at Saco, MT. This happened at 1515 meaning #7 is about 2 hrs late into Malta, MT.

Leaving Glasgow 1607, now 20" late.

Departed Wolf Creek 19" late. Culbertson was the beginning of the gandy equipment followed by lots of 25-35 mph track. Currently stopped on the main just over the ND border.

Now leaving Williston, ND at 2022 CDT or 1'22" late. I will check in again in the morning.

Yes, I would say it is a good trip. Perhaps we can make up some time as we go east.

St Cloud, MN, carded for o514, left o744.

At one time in the middle of the night the delay had been whittled down to 5o minutes. Seems to be slow track issues.

Beautiful morning out the windows, much greener than out west.

St Paul depart o937, schedule is o8o3 so we are making up some time.

Through La Crosse, Tomah and Wisconsin Dells we are holding at 90 minutes late. Lots of trains holding for #8 including a DME.

Train is full.

Milwaukee station meet with #7. Kind of a cluster as both trains board and deboard onto the same platform and there is no way to clear the platform until #7 pulls. We depart about 1550 on a 1407 schedule. We have lost another 10 minutes.

Arrival at CUS was right at 1'40" late. We followed a Metra from somewhere west of Glenview into town.
