Passenger Trains > Boardman Interview With C-SpanDate: 11/24/15 06:13 Boardman Interview With C-Span Author: knotch8 Amtrak CEO was on C-Span yesterday for almost 45 minutes. It was a combination of interview and call-in questions. They covered a lot of topics. The transcript is rough, as they often are, but you'll get the idea. There's also a link to the audio.

Think of the important questions we could ask him! -- not like the ones I heard on C-Span like--"Why isn't there a train from Topeka to New York?: or "why do all trains go through Chicago?". Date: 11/24/15 16:24 Re: Boardman Interview With C-Span Author: mp51w ronald321 Wrote:

First you take people a couple of hundred miles too far North, and then you force them into this absurd 6 hour plus layover to go to New York. It's ridiculous! And if you are going to Philadelphia or Baltimore, forget about it! He made it seem like there aren't any railroad tracks East of St. Louis. Duh! > |
