This is an old tradition that pops up now and then.
We had a waiter on 11-14 that used to sing a PA solo after dinner- he was very good!
And on the Sunset several of the conductors would sing us over the Huey Long Bridge coming into New Orleans.  They were old SP guys, mostly Cajon (some songs were sung in French).  They too were wonderful!  But, sadly, they didn't come over when Amtrak took over the T&E jobs in about 1988 or so.
I'm glad to hear the tradition is still alive.

Anthony is a good friend of mine and a great singer. May he have many more years doing it.
