Replay it from the downloaded file using the media player in your computer. Most can play slow-motion. I use VLC which even slows down the music without altering the pitch...to a point (1/4 speed), after which the audio goes silent. The same technique is useful for making the videos of the Iowa Pacific/Memphis NRHS excursion "City of Grenada" look like the train is going 70mph! Edited 1 time(s). It was interesting to see how the double-tracking jumps from one side ot the other on the existing line more than once. I'm glad to see North Caroline investing in their passenger rail system, hope it continues to grow. Do they have any updated plans about moving the Charlotte station to Uptown? I've been out to the existing station but haven't seen the NCDOT equipment yet, maybe I'll get lucky one of these trips. But that station is a ride from Uptown, would be much better if it was just a walk.

The focus now is completion of the second track segments and construction of the Raleigh station, with an additional train frequency to follow. The Charlotte station and the Norlina-Weldon alternative to SEHSR (79 mph Raleigh-Norlina-Weldon) would come after that, as funding allows. I believe the original vision of SEHSR as 110 mph Raleigh-Norlina-Petersburg parallel to I-85 is totally dead.

Can you bypass or close the demand to install JW Video Player? Do you use an ad blocker? They can often block such "interference." |
