Thank you for the before and afters. I'll admit the new waiting room looks gorgeous. Everything else looks pretty much standard/modern...almost Euro inspired. I cant wait to see it for myself in May.

As one who has been in the "before" Union Station several times and in the "after" in November 2014, I like both. Iappreciate the photos.

But isn't the new "waiting room" a tunnel?  And the old waiting room is the upscale hotel lobby?

The old waiting room is a public space open to anyone, whether they're waiting for a train, a hotel room, or what have you.

Ticket office is pretty much in a hallway now.  That bugs me a little.
Here is a shot from the old ticket office, um er bar.
It looks like they saved some of the original drawers.
