Denver joins the 20 or so other American cities with downtown to the airport service starting Friday, April 22, 2016.  Free rides on Denver RTD rail starts noon on the new University of Colorado A-Line (Denver Union Station via Stapleton to Denver International Airport).

I hate to be a nit-picker, but here goes. Calling this line the "University of Colorado A-Line" is confusing. The line goes nowhere near the University of Colorado. CU is in Boulder, NW of Denver, while the line runs from Union station NE to the airport. Naming rights for a transportation option should not be location-specific, unless that location really is on that line.

There is a CU-Denver branch, but even that is nowhere near the rail line in question.

Does CU have a downtown campus in Denver now? (For that matter, does ANY school of higher education have facilities in Downtown or in what used to be called Auraria?  They used to.  If not, then I agree.  The name is very misleading.

The closest CU facility to the new line is the medical school.

Where are the illuminated number boards on these new MU's?

symph1 I totally agree. The naming rights is just confusing. It's a dumb idea that should have never left the planning office at RTD.

University of Colorado Denver located at 1201 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80204 on the 'E' line, 17 minutes from Union Station.

​I am celebrating the Denver metro area expanding transit services along with convience and growth that comes along with that expansion.
