[NYC] "No more subway sex crimes" part 2
Author: Lackawanna484

Yesterday, multiple sources reported that Governor Andrew Cumo had ordered the NY (State) Metropolitan Transportation Authority to send more police into its subways to reduce crime.  It was perceived by many as an infringement on the security role assigned to the New York (City) Police Department, which patrols the subways. The NYPD is controlled by Mayor Bill DiBlasio, with whom Cuomo has been feuding for years.

Well, within hours the MTA sent a small group of MTA police officers into their subway. Within a few more hours, they were kicked out by the NYPD. As expected, the MTA police use different radio communications, different undercover techniques, etc from the NYPD. The NYPD took over the former New York City Transit Police Department and NYC Housing Police Department several decades ago.

This should be an open link:  MTA out of the subways

It wasn't the only bad news for police in NYC yesterday. The news was buzzing with reports that an Israeli diamond dealer who was a campaign contribution bundler for DiBlasio received a VIP police escort through a specially closed lane of the Lincoln Tunnel. Port Authority police alternated between "we knew nothing about it" and "NYPD asked us for a favor for a VIP".

Sex crimes? The vast VAST majority of so called sex "crimes" aren't anything criminal until those clowns get a hold of whatever happened and put their own spin on it. And they don't care one lick about anyone, just making crimes. Gives themselves a huge ego boost I suppose.
