me that Budd Built passenger equipment is the best "lightweight" and "postwar" cars built. When I first started riding Superliners, the only thought through my head was "if only this was a Budd". Dilworth is not in there. Among many more.

Now, 36 years later, I am very impressed at how well Pullman Standard did with these cars. The insulation from noise and the ride quality is far better than modern day equivalents built in the last 20 years. |
