one day we were working at Shore and i hear this growling sound ...i look up and i see 4 units modified GP-38s and MP15s pulling 80 cars of stone in those Herzog hoppers ... they crawled up the grade at Frankford Jct ... they got to Zoo and took the route down to Penn ... they tried to shove the 80 cars up the connection from Penn to Zoo but the 4 units just didn't have it so they had to break the train in 2 and shove up to Zoo and reverse back to Penn Coach yard ... it was a real fiasco ...
