They do off train tours during the day and stable at sidings at night. To me, one of the best things about train travel is at night. Laying in bed watching the world go by. But on most of these luxury tour trains, you are parked at night. Most guests seem to prefer that rather than rocking and rolling making sleep for those not used to it difficult.
