Interesting Car Wrap
Author: GP25

I saw this Wrap back on Monday.
The Car is Metrolink 191, I think.

With the San Bernardino County Sheriff on the ad.

They should put this put on the Antelope Valley Line.

I do not like it when they cover the windows with that crap. Makes it harder to see out.

Who looks out the windows of a commuter car? The daily commuters don't.

Why would you run it in Northeastern Los Angeles County?
Kinda misses their "target audience".

As with many law enforcement agencies today, their "target audience" is anyone who is willing to become a law enforcement officer, not necessarily someone who already is a resident of the area. In places such as Florida, it is not unusual to see an ad for new recruits in Miami as far away as places such as Orlando or Tampa. Many agencies in the past decade or so have lowered their initial requirements, even allowing convicted felons to apply for the jobs. Right now, many agencies are experiencing a high turnover due to quicker retirements because of the current climate out there or others just leaving the profession to go to work in the private sector.

AV line needs a few cars wrapped with vertical bars.

Ditto that - when we departed Chicago last week on No. 7 we paced a Metra out of Northwestern station on the adjaccent track. We were eye-level with the upper-deck communters and not a single one looked out the window at us.

I was a LIRR commuter for many years. Yes we do.
Had a hell of a time figuring out where we were in the early days of Lexan , which quickly became opaque.

I have to call BS on this, unless you can provide a reference.
