Photo 4 - Biking the Route of the Hiawatha (St. Paul Pass on the Milwaukee Road through the Bitteroot Mountains) where Little Joes used to roam. Photo taken from Tunnel #28.

Photo 5 - Entire consist parked in Spokane BNSF yard.

A nice set of photos.  Love the one in the Wind river Canyon --
very evocative.  Makes me remember family camping trips in
areas that had that kind of feel to them.   Makes me really want
to go back there -- soon!   (When the weather is like whtt your
beautiful photo shows.)

Great to see Larry's PV City of Spokane, ex-Great Northern Port of Vancouver GN 1196 on the AAPRCO 39th Convention train.  Larry organized the 2016 American Association of Private Car Owners Denver, CO, to Spokane, Washington, trip.

Wish I could have joined you all for this rare routing (Denver - Fort Collins - Cheyenne, WY - Casper via Wind River Canyon - Laurel, MT - Missoula, MT - Spokane, WA).
