Passenger Trains > Coast Starlight Woes

You wouldn't know it from looking at the transidocs display, but there was trouble.
The rear two coaches of No.11 were derailed in a yard accident in Seattle, and blocked
the rest of the train. So, a spare Talgo set protected No.11's schedule to Portland ( PDX )
and passengers were to transfer to No.14's equipment after it arrived and they shooed 
all the people off onto the waiting Talgo train, which will protect No.14's schedule to SEA
( That's Seattle ).

At least Amtrak was smart enough to come up with a quick "replacement" plan!

Saw the Talgo set pass Tukwila on my shift today

I figured there was a problem of some kind

Hope they got 11s coaches back on the track though and made sure they were ready to go for tomorrow, anyone know how that happened in the 1ST Place?

Borrowing something else unforseen, tomorrow they will have TWO train sets for #11, so it looks like a deadhead set of power and cars?

According to what I read in this thread, one Coast Starlight set turned in Portland and went south from Portland while the Talgo set went back to Seattle.  Only the derailed Starlight
 set is in Seattle.  

I believe that is correct.

How many Spare sets of Talgo do they have in SEA?
