Faux Steam Locomotive at Chicago Union Station

Or perhaps I should say "Foam Steam Locomotive..."
Christmas display in the Great Hall at Chicago Union Station includes a Polar Express locomotive constructed of foam.
I'll reserve further comment!

It looks better than some of the Christmas displays.  At least they got the rods and cranks sort of close.

The more I look at it, the more I think someone 3D scanned a Lionel or American Flyer 2-6-2 and used that as a guide. It would be interesting to know how the foam was carved or formed.

Struck me as a cross between a Lionel 2-6-4 and a Baltimore & Ohio T-3.
