Silver Sisters Take A Holiday Adventure

The Silver Lariat and Silver Solarium roll across the Ventura River today on the back of the Coast Starlight, about two hours into their journey to Seattle. The two private cars are heading for service on the Leavenworth Snow Train out of Seattle. They're slated to return to Los Angeles in December.

Alas, I was in Camarillo ≈3 miles from the line, when I heard 14 whistling through town.
