Last night #79 was in Rocky Mt almost three hours due to engine trouble (no details). Since the train lost 20 min. RMT-Charlotte, it is possible that they picked up a CSX unit. This lead to an interesting possibility - if NCDOT had a protect unit in Charlotte, would it lead #80 north?

Reports say 80 had CSX 7370 on the point out of Charlotte... the same unit that was put on the point of 79 last night.
