Is anyone of these Cars a 35000 series?

We are going to keep having these sort of Superliner winters until the N-S get delivered, if ever.

They should have gone with Alstom and or Bombardier.
Those cars would have been ready a year or so ago.

I'd say Alstom or Kawasaki. Bombardier is lately having trouble with everything, whether it be LRV's for Toronto, or R179 subway cars for NYC.

Saw it at West Quincy today, didn't check the numbers. Sorry!

I would think a bunch of Superliners that operate in the winter will be freed up when new Midwest Bilevels come online. Amtrak should be looking for more ski trains that can operate with Superliners or better disburse the Superliners with demand.

I think Amtrak should be able to find enough cars where the Capitol could do a run-through to Florida at least in the winter months (Chicago to Miami). Perhaps routed on the Silver a Star route to see if a change of equipment type and potential timing could help out.
