Train #14 shows over 8 hours late and not yet to Dunsmuir on Track-a-train
Train #11 shows stopped in Oakland since 0930
Train #529 that left Auburn at 0630 still doesn’t show arrival in Oakland

I was waiting for #529 in Davis this morning when #522 came in and stopped and stayed.    Announcement was made that 3 rails had broken between Sacramento and Davis and it would take at least an hour to fix, maybe more.     522's passengers were bused to SAC.  I gave up my trip for today.   I see 529 arrived DAV about an hour late,   #11 (which was already late into SAC)  arrived Davis 9:21, so it wasn't really stopped at Oakland at 9:30.

Don't know, how cold does it have to be?   33-34 at my house this a.m.
Just saw on Channel 3 news that a Cap Corridor train came to a sudden stop outside Davis this a.m.   One passenger injury.  Must have been #529 as all the earlier trains made it to SAC or DAV pretty much on time.    I wonder if the"529" that was an hour late into Davis this morning was actually #522's trainset, whose passengers had been bused to SAC.

Plenty cold for broken rails, there were already some around here. When it dips below 40 or so its normally a concern. Besides, the rails here in Cali aren't as used to the freezing temps like the ones you may find in other states.
