CSS&SB Winter Woes- Psgrs trapped on train for 5 hours

Apparently it couldn't get it up over the CREATE project Torrance Ave. bridge

Scroll down to the second video on this link for a nice aerial view of the NS Burnham Yard (and a following weather
related segment with the always lovely Lauren Podesta)

After all that it would be interesting to know what actually happened.
One sure thing about the South Shore, in bad winter weather they always have problems.

Between the ice on the rail and the ice on the catenary, it was a losing battle. Notice on the ABC video that ALL of the pantographs are up on the train that was moving. That indicates they were having problems getting power to the train.

It's not just them. Metra has had its share of problems.

A co-worker of mine was on the stranded train. He never did make it to the office today.
