Between the ice on the rail and the ice on the catenary, it was a losing battle. Notice on the ABC video that ALL of the pantographs are up on the train that was moving. That indicates they were having problems getting power to the train. Metra has had its share of problems. A co-worker of mine was on the stranded train. He never did make it to the office today. |
