Passenger Trains > Smoker Selfies

Three Coast Starlight passengers take advantage of a smoke break at San Luis Obispo to snap a few selfies before the conductor calls "all aboard" on Monday afternoon.

I have no idea how my wallet was stolen...I am always aware of my surroundings!

Part of the 18%   who still don't  get it. 

I don't take selfies---it would crack the phone.

i am old and barely text.  what do people do with selfies?

Thought the top half of your picture was nice!

They post them online and share with friends. They're great to document "I was here."

Not all that different than asking some random stranger to take you picture using your camera.

The same thing you do with your photographs. Create memories with the family and / or friends that were present, just in electronic form.

none of my photographs have close ups of "my mug" by choice.  i ALSO like some scenery and surroundings in my photos.......

Any TO or Railfan at San Luis Obispo would have been turned around when they took the selfie so the Coast Starlight would have been in the background of the selfie!

This is so obnoxious! Everyone knows you should hold your phone horizontally when you take a pic for the best results. Sheesh!

Maybe they're just regular passengers who, you know, are using the train for transportation.

But not to worry, after their selfie session, the trio posed with the train in the background and recruited the guy in yellow to snap their picture.

Bingo! Smoking aside, it's great to see young people enjoying, wait for it.....a train ride!

Thanks to walstib for sharing these.

Think the18% refers to smokers. Selfie takers are probably more than18%!
