Passenger Trains > Death on MBTA (Boston) tracks at Brockton StationDate: 02/18/17 08:04 Death on MBTA (Boston) tracks at Brockton Station Author: Frank30 At 10 am this morning, Channel 7 News reported that a 75 year old man was stuck and killed
by an outbound commuter rail train at Brockton. He was crossing the ground level tracks at the southern end of the station at 7:15 when he was hit by the train being pulled by an HSP-46 engine. Passengers were bussed to their destination while the investigation proceeded. The TV reporter mentioned that after 2+ hours, the train was allowed to proceed southbound. RIP Frank30 Date: 02/18/17 08:27 Re: Death on MBTA (Boston) tracks at Brockton Station Author: mp16 One tv station reported that the crossing signals were working so I assume the red lights were flashing and the clangers
making their usual noise. |
