4 former Virginia Railway Express bilevels have been parked on a BNSF track just outside of Chicago Union Station for over a week. It appears Metra has repatriated these coaches and will rebuild or repair for service on its trains. Car numbers are V425, V408, V429 and V412.

They pulled them up to the service tracks yesterday. Now they are back in the car wash pocket.

I think they wyed the cars earlier this week. I saw them one morning down by 16th Street.
