Siemens Charger Test Train
Author: burlingtonjohn

A good buddy who works nights in Quincy Illinois sent me a text this morning and said when he got off work, he saw a Siemens test train tied down in Quincy just east of the 30th street crossing (near the Amtrak depot). Decided to make the road trip to check it out. Attached are a few photos of the entire train.

Siemens SC-44 4604
Siemens SC-44 4611
Amtrak Horizon Coach 54534
Amtrak Amfleet Coach 82510
Amtrak Amfleet Coach 82710
Amtrak 53

The plow looks inadequate. Can't test that right now though.

Now if they were painted maroon and red
with yellow striping, they would really
look good! (GM&O).
