No Great Dome on the Illini
Author: USNChief

#393 Illini came through Manteno, Illinois at 5:24, it should have been in Kankakee at 5:12 but would make it at 5:33. A very dirty #33 was on the point 4 coaches, 1 old baggage and 2 new baggage. Must have been too cold to wash the train!

I haven't caught a Chicago-Carbondale train in Chicago in years. How user friendly is boarding, is the power toward the station so you don't have to walk far to get to the coaches or do you have to walk past all the deadhead cars to get to the coaches to get to your coaches?

Let me get this straight.
First you complain because the dome was on the train and now you're complaining because it's not on the train?
I take it that Amtrak can do nothing right in your eyes.
