Passenger Trains > 21 detour in Texas

21 and 22 have been detouring around DFW for the last week or so.

21 heads SW from Longview towards Austin on the Cotton Belt, 22 NE on the MOP (UP runs
these lines single direction nowadays).

Here is 21 today passing the historic Cotton Belt depot in Tyler, Tex.

There were foamers from Waco/Temple on 22 yesterday, and returning on this #21 today.

Hey! I resemble that remark! :)

Nice run down the Cotton Belt today, had lunch in the diner near Corsicana, and enjoyed the rest of the trip from the lounge.
22 yesterday was going well until a UP freight went kaput east of Palestine, sticking us west of Palestine for about an hour.
