Heads Up: Coast Starlight with Private Cars

Running two hours behind schedule, Amtrak's Coast Starlight races through the farm fields of Riceton, California. Bringing up the rear are three private cars returning from the 4449 excursion. They are the Silver Splendor, Overland Trail and Plaza Santa Fe. In the distance, the Sutter Buttes, commonly called the 'smallest mountain range on Earth', tower above the Sacramento Valley.

Beautiful photo of a mundane place. Your photo makes the
buttes look even larger than they really are. The light
beings color to the scene in a nice way.
